We believe everyone has a voice, a story to tell and something to contribute.

GWS Radio is more than a radio station we are a community-powered platform bringing people together, championing local voices, celebrating diversity and creating opportunities for people to learn, grow and shape their own futures.

Rooted in Glastonbury, Wells, Street and the surrounding villages, we put our communities at the heart of everything we do. We give people the chance to be heard, share ideas, explore new perspectives and tell the stories that matter while opening doors to new skills, confidence and possibilities through hands on training, work experience and volunteering, we help people discover their potential, develop practical skills and find their place in the world of media and beyond as we believe that great communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to take part, have their say and make a difference.

GWS Radio is your voice, your stories, your community. And there’s a place for you here.
